Senior Cyber Test Engineer (Onsite)

CODEX Overview CODEX (Cyber Offense and Defense Experts) division brings together an elite team of mission‑focused industry experts who are well known for their ability to overcome advanced technical challenges. The team includes engineers across vulnerability research, reverse engineering, CNO/CNE development, hardware emulation, system engineering, and data analytics. Senior Cyber Test Engineer CODEX seeks a cyber test engineer for a high‑visibility CNO development team. In this role you will directly impact customer needs and missions by verifying the consistency and quality of our products throughout the development process. You will engage with internal and customer stakeholders to derive system requirements and react to mission needs, understand the tools, systems, and frameworks used by the customer, and build real‑world test environments and test plans. You will build and maintain custom test frameworks and generate thorough documentation. Technical experience in networking, Agile methodologies, and scripting is preferred. Required Qualifications TS/SCI with CI Poly Clearance is required Technical leadership experience in leading small teams 5 years of test engineering or related experience 5 years of experience with offensive cyber operations 3 years of experience developing in Python, Bash, or similar scripting language 3 years of experience working on Linux/Unix systems Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking, architecture, and core technologies (DNS, DHCP, routing, VPN) Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem‑solving skills Ability to interface with customers, end‑users, technical leads, and program management Desired Qualifications Experience building test automation frameworks Experience designing, writing, reviewing, and executing test plans, procedures, reports, and other technical documentation Familiarity with Agile mindset and methodologies Ability to think abstractly and drive toward defined requirements and testing strategies Experience with virtualization technologies such as Docker Education Requirements Requires a degree in a technical discipline.
