Production Supervisor

Allient Inc. is in growth mode and currently seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to join our team in Tulsa, Oklahoma! The 2nd Shift Production Supervisor oversees shop employees in a manufacturing and assembly environment. This position plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures, and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions. Apply now!Responsibilities:Directs all production staff including effectively assigning tasks, communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and adhering to policies and procedures.Generates production plans and resource scheduling based on staffing, deadlines, materials and equipment and report those plans regularly to Production/Operations Manager. Meets production operational standards by implementing production, productivity, and quality standards.Improves workflow by eliminating stoppages; analyzing delays; trying new methods while utilizing continuous improvement methods and strategic planning.Manages demands on assembly resources for time sensitive projects with respect to other work, bringing to management’s attention conflicts that will compromise quality or timeliness of delivery.Maintains Quality Control Procedures; sets and monitors product standards to ensure finished products are of prescribed quality.Actively participates in and support lean/AST activities.Maintains safe and clean work environment through the use of the 5S program.May demonstrate and/or perform production activities to meet demand or coach employees.May oversee facilities and maintenance responsibilities for the location as required.Minimum Requirements:Associate’s Degree in a manufacturing related discipline, Bachelors preferred.3 – 8 years of supervisory experience in a production environment is desired. Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work as a constructive member of a cross-functional team, sharing product and company knowledge as needed.Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
