Key Responsibilities

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will have a diverse range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Writing comprehensive case notes, client assessments, and evaluations to accurately document client progress.
• Collaborating with clients and fellow therapists to develop and implement Individual Treatment Plans (ITPs) that align with therapeutic goals.
• Supporting the assessment process by scoring, interpreting, and reporting psychometric assessments under the guidance of treating therapists.
• Conducting supervision sessions with the site supervisor to ensure accountability and promote clinical growth.
• Participating in team meetings, contributing to discussions, and sharing insights with clinical staff on best practices and case management.
• Researching and identifying agency resources and services that may benefit clients.
• Completing orientation and onboarding processes with the agency, which includes familiarizing yourself with policies, procedures, and staff members.
• Preparing for client sessions by reviewing case notes and conducting relevant research to address specific client needs.
• Engaging in small group supervision or seminar preparations, including reviewing video tapes and presenting research findings.
• Maintaining organized and up-to-date client records in both written and electronic formats, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
• Coordinating with partner agencies to facilitate integrated services and maintain a holistic approach to client care.
• Conducting client consultations in conjunction with other agency professionals to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
• Active licensure as LMHC, LMFT, or LICSW in the state of Washington, in compliance with all state regulations.
• No history of medical malpractice claims, verified through third-party sources.
• Authorized to work within the United States.
• Strong clinical skills with an ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective collaboration with clients and coworkers.

Preferred Experience

While not required, the following experiences are preferred:

• Prior experience in a telehealth setting, demonstrating adaptability to virtual care protocols.
• Familiarity with psychometric assessment tools and techniques in client evaluations.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to promote holistic client care.

Compensation and Benefits

Serene Reflections offers a competitive annual salary range of $52,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, our benefits package includes:
