Occupational Therapist (OTR/OTD)

Job Description Job Description As an Occupational Therapist (OTR/OTD) specializing in pediatric therapy, you will independently develop and implement treatment plans for a diverse caseload of fewer than 10 patients daily, primarily in an outpatient clinic setting. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including speech therapists and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), to provide play-based therapy that addresses handwriting, activities of daily living (ADLs), feeding therapy, and sensory integration. Responsibilities * Assess pediatric patients to identify their occupational therapy needs * Independently develop and implement individualized treatment plans * Deliver therapeutic interventions focused on play-based approaches, handwriting, ADLs, feeding, and sensory processing * Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary * Educate patients and families on therapy goals and techniques to support development * Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and patient outcomes * Collaborate with speech therapists and a team of occupational therapy professionals, including COTAs * Advocate for patients' occupational therapy needs within the interdisciplinary team Preferred Qualifications * 2+ years of experience in occupational therapy * Licensed OTR or holding a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OTD)
