Leadership Trainee

Subway Team Member

As part of the Subway Team, you will focus on seven main things:

• Providing an excellent guest experience
• Ensuring that great food is prepared and served
• Keeping our restaurants functional, clean, and beautiful
• Controlling inventory
• Scheduling and supervising staff
• Maintaining standards of restaurant safety and security
• Being a team player

In addition to this role, key parts of your day-to-day will consist of:

• Managing a staff of 4-6 including evaluating work, coaching, and driving continuous improvement
• Assisting in the planning of special events and promotions in the restaurant, coordinating any training needed to make events successful
• Assisting with product ordering and inventory as needed

Prerequisites:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience

Essential functions:

• Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members
• Computer knowledge is desirable
• Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized point of sale system/cash register
• This position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday
• Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally
