Seasonal Contract RN - Labor and Delivery

This is a 13-week contract position.

Candidate will work a 12-hour shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with no on-call requirements. Weekend shifts required, with a total of 4 weekend shifts in a scheduled rotation.

Join our Level 4 designated maternal center, where we provide exceptional care for complex patients at any gestation. Our Labor and Delivery unit comprises 22 beds (16 labor beds) with an approximate staff of 100, including RNs and support personnel. We emphasize teamwork and a fast-paced environment, requiring candidates who are adept at multitasking and can adapt quickly to changing situations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for high-risk maternal patients.
• Assist in vaginal and cesarean section deliveries, tubal ligations, cerclage placements and removals, and D&C C-hyst procedures.
• Implement care plans and monitor patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license.
• Experience with high-risk maternal patients and circulating operating room processes.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant nursing experience preferred.
