Job Description
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, chest physiotherapy, and mechanical ventilation.
- Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families about respiratory conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay updated with the latest respiratory therapy techniques and practices through continuous education.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy principles, techniques, and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
