Job Title Revenue Cycle Services Coordinator – Harding Hospital Department Harding | Outpatient Services Position Summary The Revenue Cycle Coordinator is an expert in product, process or service line areas such as physician appointment scheduling, OR/admission, full service scheduling, pre‑registration, registration, insurance verification, and patient liability determination and communication. This position is responsible for providing consumers (clinical staff and patients) with accurate, up‑to‑date information regarding products, services, and general procedures. The Coordinator schedules return appointments and/or other appointments as assigned, ensures accurate appointment, demographic, and insurance information is gathered to support clinical and financial needs, and provides support to physicians and consumers by coordinating their requests and satisfying their needs in one transaction. They solve routine and complex customer problems and know where to direct customers to address specific questions. They communicate regularly with clinical staff, medical secretaries, and staff within the product/service line to ensure customer and department staff needs are met, and always create a positive first impression. The Coordinator must be able to use a variety of software packages, including the Electronic Medical Record, scheduling and registration systems, ABN, eligibility, document management software, and others. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED PC knowledge and interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Minimum 6 months of experience in customer service or a healthcare environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with Windows, Excel, and intranet/internet navigation tools Knowledge of medical terminology, coding, and third‑party reimbursement Ability to work in multiple systems for assigned tasks, management, and reporting Strong problem‑solving and presentation skills High level of customer service skills Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks in a busy environment Additional Information Location: Harding Hospital (0165) Position Type: Regular Scheduled Hours: 40 Shift: First Shift Background Check Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check.
