Sr. R&D Chemist

Westwood Laboratories is growing, and we're looking for a hands‑on Senior Chemist to join our R&D team! If you enjoy developing innovative products, collaborating across departments, and seeing your formulations go from concept to commercial production, we'd love to meet you. Westwood is a fast‑paced contract manufacturing company specializing in OTC, personal care, beauty, cosmetic, and pet care products . Every day brings new challenges, new customers, and new opportunities to create exciting products for some of the industry's leading brands. What You'll Do Develop and reformulate OTC, cosmetic, personal care, beauty, and pet care products Lead projects from concept through commercialization Support scale‑up and manufacturing trials Troubleshoot formulation and processing challenges Partner closely with Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Purchasing, and Customer Service teams Work directly with customers to bring their ideas to life What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related scientific field preferred 5+ years of formulation experience Experience with cosmetics, personal care, OTC, pharmaceutical, or pet care products Strong problem‑solving and project‑management skills Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment Bonus Points For Contract Manufacturing (CMO/CDMO) experience Experience scaling products from lab to production Why Westwood?
