Job Fair Dates Wednesday, July 22, 2026 – 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM Thursday, July 23, 2026 – 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM Position Full‑Time Psychiatric Registered Nurses (RN) Available shifts: Day – 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM; Night – 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM; 12‑hour shifts; Weekend rotation required. What You’ll Do As a Psychiatric RN, you will play a vital role in helping patients stabilize, heal, and achieve their treatment goals. Responsibilities Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to adolescent and adult behavioral health patients. Complete comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment interventions as needed. Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately. Document patient care thoroughly through daily nursing notes and electronic medical records. Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and the interdisciplinary treatment team. Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment that protects patient dignity and rights. Build trusting relationships with patients and their families. Participate in treatment team meetings and discharge planning. Support and mentor fellow nursing staff while promoting quality patient care. Qualifications Required Current Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact RN license eligible to practice in Texas. Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Current CPR certification. Excellent communication and critical thinking skills. Passion for patient‑centered behavioral healthcare. Preferred Qualifications Experience in behavioral health, psychiatric nursing, or pediatric nursing. Previous inpatient psychiatric experience. Knowledge of mental health assessments and crisis intervention.
