Job Opportunity In Cambridge, Ma
Position located in Cambridge, MA
Requirements:
- Shift: Rotating
- Floating Required: No
- Must have acute care experience.
- Must work every other weekend.
- Must work every other major holiday.
- On-Call Requirements: Not required; they do call for volunteers to cover vacant shifts, if needed.
Unit Specifics:
- Common patient diagnosis: Post vaginal delivery; post c-section delivery; intermittent post-partum magnesium or postpartum hemorrhage
- Required Drips & Medications: IV antibiotics; IV magnesium intermittently, PRBC; rhogam, lovenox
- Specialty Equipment: Welch Allyn blood pressure; Nihon Khoden; venodynm machine; IV pump; panda warmer; Medela Breast pump
- Patients: Newborn
- Number of Beds in the Unit: 13 Postpartum and 4 Continuing Care Nursery
Submission Requirements:
- 1+ year(s) of experience in Postpartum. Travel experience preferred; willing to accept first time travelers.
- AHA BLS & NRP required. Lactation certification preferred.
- Massachusetts RN license required
- EMR Exp Preferred: EPIC
