What You'll Do

• Prepare fabrication lists for highway structures for rebar reinforcement within the requirements of the engineering design and drawings.
• Occasionally drafting of complex areas to assist in listing of material.
• Ensure that your work area is clean, secure, and well maintained
• Participate in CMC Safety culture and training on a regular basis.
• Be a part of a great team of individuals and grow your career
• Maintain communication via phone and e-mail with CMC customers for delivery schedules, RFI’s, change orders, plan changes, and attend planning meetings as needed

What You'll Need

• Ability to review and interpret contract documents for FL DOT jobs
• Ability to use critical thinking skills to solve unique problems
• Ability to use MS Excel & MS Outlook
• High level of attention to detail and focus with a commitment to accuracy
• Ability to work independently and manage your time efficiently
• Ability to use intermediate level geometry math to calculate degrees and angles
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English

Your Education

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required
