Assistant Manager - Part Time

In this role, you’ll support daily operations, deliver exceptional customer service, and help create a positive experience for both customers and team members. This is a part‑time position with a Sunday through Tuesday schedule, averaging approximately 27 hours per week. Responsibilities: Support the Store Manager in the day‑to‑day operations of a self‑storage facility. Ensure the property is clean, safe, and well‑maintained, including sweeping, dusting, mopping, trash pickup, changing light bulbs, pulling weeds, and ensuring all aspects of the facility are in working order. Assist with organizing and completing daily operational tasks. Handle customer accounts, including delinquency actions. Tour storage spaces and assist customers throughout the rental process. Manage daily deposits, cash counts, and petty cash. Collaborate positively with team members and leadership. Support occupancy, rental, and customer service goals. Deliver exceptional customer service through professional in‑person, phone, and email communication. Conduct regular property walks and security checks throughout the facility. Qualifications & Skills: Positive energy with a customer‑focused attitude. Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work weekends and occasional holidays as business needs require. Proficiency using computers, mobile devices, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and property management software, with accurate data entry and management of digital customer records. Possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation. Prior customer service or retail experience preferred. Strong listening skills and ability to follow direction. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to read computer screens, review digital records, and complete data entry and typing tasks accurately. Ability to learn and utilize property management software, communication platforms, and other business systems necessary for daily operations. Compensation: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour Eligible for monthly bonus opportunities based on performance and company programs.
