Radiology Technologist - Part-Time

Role Summary Radiology Technologist at Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR. Part‑time day shift – 4 shifts per week from 7:30 am‑4:00 pm. Schedule & Compensation Hourly pay: $36.99 – $57.44. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. $4,000 sign‑on bonus available to eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment – in addition to the benefits and compensation package provided by Providence. Responsibilities The Radiology Technologist performs imaging examinations according to physicians’ orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated imaging equipment while taking into account patient’s unique and age‑related needs. They use clinical knowledge and judgment regarding proper positioning, radiation dose calibration, and patient treatment to produce optimal, high‑quality images. The technologist performs all examinations with minimal radiation exposure to patient and operator with ALARA awareness. Required Qualifications Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement. Upon hire: Oregon Radiographer License, or Upon hire: Oregon Radiographer Temporary License. Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association. For new graduates: OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.
