CNC Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

About the Opportunity Job Title: CNC Machine Operator • Pay Rate Range: $19.00–$23.00 per hour • Location: Rogers, MN • Schedule: 2nd Shift Monday–Thursday 3:00 PM–1:30 AM • Position Type: Temp to Hire Requirements and Qualifications High School Diploma Organizational skills Attention to detail Ability to improvise when needed Ability to accurately count Ability to read calipers and micrometers Ability to read paperwork Ability to read blueprints Time management skills Basic knowledge about CNC machines/CNC mill operations Willingness to learn Must be able to stand during the entire shift and lift at least 40 pounds Ability to lift 75 pounds Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing Good work ethic and attendance is a must Duties and Responsibilities Operate a CNC lathe or CNC mill while maintaining quality and safety standards Prepare and load raw materials and parts into machines Learn to adjust the machine controls Pay close attention to detail to produce good parts Use decent math skills and mechanical aptitude Examine blueprints and use inspection equipment such as calipers and micrometers (training available) Benefits May accrue up to 48 hours of paid sick time per year Medical Dental Vision Short-term disability 401(k) AAP/EEO Statement: All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
