Fitness Expert for AI Model Training

Role Overview
Apply your professional fitness, exercise, and nutrition knowledge to help train next-generation AI systems. In this remote contractor role supporting a major customer, you will create, review, and refine real-world workout programs and nutrition guidance so models learn accurate, practical, safe fitness recommendations. No prior AI experience is required; your domain expertise is the priority.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver subject matter expertise in fitness, exercise programming, and nutrition to inform AI model development.
Review, critique, and improve materials related to workout programming, nutrition plans, and general wellness guidance.
Create and evaluate sample fitness programs and nutrition plans tailored to a range of client personas and goals.
Provide detailed written explanations and clear verbal communication to articulate concepts and suggestions for system improvement.
Collaborate in pairs with other fitness professionals, coordinating based on mutual availability to produce well-rounded, high-fidelity feedback.
Participate in project meetings, feedback sessions, and remote collaborative assignments focused on enhancing AI understanding of fitness topics.
Maintain consistent availability to meet the minimum engagement requirement.
Qualifications
Required skills: fitness expertise, exercise programming, nutrition planning, strong written communication, and strong verbal communication.
Experience as a personal trainer, nutritionist, or other fitness professional is preferred.
Demonstrated experience working directly with clients across diverse fitness levels, backgrounds, and goals.
Experience designing or reviewing customized workout and nutrition plans.
Comfort collaborating remotely with other professionals and using digital tools for communication and documentation.
Ability to adapt feedback style to different audiences, from technical project leads to non-technical stakeholders.
Interest in the future of technology and AI, and curiosity to participate in shaping solutions in the health and wellness domain.
Work Terms
Role type: Contractor, remote.
Location requirement: Must be based in the United States.
Minimum commitment: 15 hours per week.
Collaboration model: paired reviews with other fitness professionals based on mutual availability.
Work supports training and evaluation of AI systems for a major customer.
Compensation
$50.00 to $101.00 per hour.
Eligibility
Applicants must be able to perform this role remotely while located in the United States.
