Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including detailed physical examinations and comprehensive medical history assessments
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through the interpretation of diagnostic imaging and laboratory results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement personalized surgical care plans
• Provide essential intraoperative support encompassing room preparation, patient positioning, and instrument management during procedures
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including administration of medications, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a strong emphasis on surgery is highly desirable

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Certificates in BLS and ACLS are necessary
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
