About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Procurement to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that are in line with the organization's goals. This role involves leading a team of procurement professionals, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that the procurement process is efficient and cost-effective. The Head of Procurement will also be tasked with identifying and mitigating risks in the supply chain, as well as driving continuous improvement initiatives. Applicants for the Head of Procurement position at the company should have a proven track record in a senior procurement role, preferably within the energy sector. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, and a Master's degree is a plus. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Experience in strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier performance evaluation is essential. A deep understanding of market trends and the ability to adapt procurement strategies accordingly is also necessary.
