Active Life Physical Therapy Center is searching for a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Orange Park, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, including reviewing their medical history, performing physical assessments, and documenting findings to establish a clear treatment plan.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, explaining evaluation results and involved in setting realistic goals for recovery.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols that are patient-centered and adaptable to the evolving healthcare landscape, ensuring effective rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to review and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress, noting any significant changes in their condition.
• Manage appropriate discharge planning and aftercare, maintaining concise documentation of patient interactions including initial evaluations, daily progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Maintain excellent time management skills to meet productivity expectations while ensuring an organized patient schedule.
• Participate in community outreach and marketing efforts to promote our services and educate the public about our capabilities.
• Take initiative in pursuing continuing education opportunities to further enhance personal and organizational competencies and serve effectively as a clinical instructor for students.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our center primarily serves patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and conditions that require rehabilitation support. This includes a diverse range of individuals, from athletes to elderly patients, each with unique treatment needs. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will use your specialized knowledge to help patients regain their strength, mobility, and independence, fostering a supportive environment to encourage their rehabilitation journeys.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• Current state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Current CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

While two years of experience is required, candidates with specialized training or certifications in orthopedics or manual therapy techniques will be given preference. Experience in community outreach or marketing could also enhance your candidacy, as this role will contribute to both patient care and organizational visibility.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
