The Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely billing, collections, and revenue optimization for our healthcare clients. This individual will be responsible for managing the full revenue cycle process, including claim submissions, payments, denials and appeals, payor follow-ups, patient billing and collections, payment posting, coding compliance, and reporting. The RCM Specialist works closely with internal teams and external clients to ensure compliance, minimize denials, and accelerate cash flow. Must have dermatology billing experience. Our team is driven by a passion for operational excellence, client success, and measurable outcomes. Job Location: This is a hybrid position (work from home and on location). Must be able to commute to an office environment.The role requires travel to client sites, meetings, training locations, and other business-related events. Occasional overnight travel may also be required. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field, or the equivalent thereof in experience is preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in revenue cycle management or medical billing in dermatology; certification in billing by an accredited institution is required; certification in coding is preferred. Strong proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel and Google Sheets) is a must. Demonstrated experience with practice management systems, billing platforms, and clearinghouse solutions. Nextech, ModMed EMA, and TriZetto experience is preferred. Travel to client offices and conferences may be required, including out-of-state travel and overnight stays.
