Responsibilities

– Greet and room patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient patient experience – Schedule appointments and answer phones to support smooth clinic operations – Take vital signs accurately and record patient information using electronic medical records (EMRs) – Draw blood through phlebotomy or venipuncture procedures – Administer vaccines and provide other clinical support as needed – Maintain a collaborative relationship with the center's staff to ensure cohesive patient care and clinic success – Support health education initiatives and outreach efforts within the clinical setting

Required Skills

– Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience (beyond externship) – Proven experience in phlebotomy/venipuncture – Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) – Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills – Excellent computer skills and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently – Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and support team objectives

Additional Skills & Requirements

– Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred – Experience with vaccination administration and clinical support procedures – Ability to work a varied schedule, including potential for different shifts and coverage on multiple days – Experience working with pediatric patients (ages 2+) is a plus – Previous exposure to occupational health and onsite dispensing processes is desirable – A strong desire to contribute to health education and outreach efforts within a community-focused clinical setting
