CDL A OTR Experienced Flatbed Driver

Trans American Trucking Service Inc. has an opening in their NH terminal for an over the road driver. Trans American has been in business since 1976 with our corporate office located in South Plainfield NJ. We are an open deck carrier i.e. flatbed, stepdeck, double drop, RGN and conestogas.

Duties

Safely operate tractor-trailers across multiple states, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies
Load and unload freight using manual transmission/automatic trucks.
Handle various types of cargo.
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance
Follow designated routes efficiently while managing delivery schedules to meet deadlines
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in compliance with federal regulations
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries, providing exceptional customer service throughout each interaction
Qualifications

Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record
At least 3 years driving experience along with experience loading, securing and tarping freight.
Comfortable operating manual transmission trucks.
Ability to perform physical tasks.
Knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving and freight handling
Flexibility to travel long distances over multiple days as part of OTR routes
