Works individually or as part of a team to perform order fulfillment tasks according to specifications.
Position Title:
Picker/Packer
Specific Position Requirements:
- Picker/Packer
- Must be willing to work overtime, including Saturdays
- Lifting up to 50 lbs
- Standing for long periods
- Bending, stooping, walking, kneeling, etc.
- Picking, packing, and preparing parts for shipment
- Sorting and storing parts
- Instructing and assisting other team members
- Maintaining a safe work environment
- Moving and positioning loads with crane and order picker
- Metatarsal boots, gloves, earplugs, safety glasses, bump cap
- Client provides PPE except for metatarsal boots
- PPE must be worn the entire shift-no exceptions
- HS Diploma/GED or 1-year experience in manufacturing
- Good attendance
- Ability to work safely and efficiently
- Work with close tolerances
- Teamwork and independent work capability
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
