Job Title Assistant/Senior Assistant Director, Admissions Operations Compensation Assistant Director – $50,000 to $60,000; Senior Assistant Director – $55,000 to $65,000. Salary commensurate with experience, education, and level of the position. Weekly hours: 40. Eligibility: benefit eligible. Job Summary The Assistant or Senior Assistant Director of Admissions Operations is a detail‑oriented, collaborative member of a dynamic team in a complex university environment. The role supports Miami University’s commitment to recruiting, admitting, enrolling, and supporting the retention and graduation of students from Ohio, across the US, and worldwide. The position requires a passion for the creative use of admission technology, data‑informed strategies, and excellence in admission selection and communications. Essential Duties Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all recruitment, procedural and ad‑hoc communications to prospective students and applicants (25%). Maintain and improve application processes, forms, checklists, decision releases, status pages, and event registration systems; increase engagement through data analysis and CRM strategy (25%). Primary responsibility for managing student search, collaborating with partners, tracking KPIs, ensuring deadlines, and providing data‑driven recommendations (20%). Partner with Enrollment Marketing and Communications for automated prospective student communications and media integration (10%). Support processing of millions of prospective student records annually, leveraging existing systems (10%). Collaborate with other offices, committees, and individuals to develop and implement procedures related to recruitment, admission operations, and data integrity (10%). Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. Assistant Director: 2 years full‑time experience in higher‑education admissions, operations, marketing/sales, or related field. Senior Assistant Director: 3 years full‑time experience in higher‑education admissions, operations, marketing/sales, or related field. Experience managing operations and/or systems functions. Ability to compile, analyze, summarize, and communicate data and reports. Experience with relational databases and reporting/queries. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google applications. Excellent oral and written communication skills; high level of organization, self‑starting. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree. Experience with Technolutions Slate or other admissions CRM.
