Champions a strong performance culture, balancing growth with disciplined risk management while reinforcing the Bank’s position as a leading local provider and employer of choice.Key Accountabilities:Client Experience & Market PresenceDeliver a differentiated Premier client experience that drives satisfaction, loyalty, and retention through a client first leadership mindsetAmplify and enforce segment norms to an exceptional level of consistencyBuild strong market presence through community engagement and senior-level relationship management.Sales Execution & PerformanceEstablish clear sales priorities, optimize resource allocation, and ensure consistent execution across markets.Drive new business acquisition and deepen share of wallet across lending, deposits, and investment solutions.Ensure a holistic approach to client interactions, opening doors to solutions across the entire enterprise, not just Premier Client Services.Hold Market Leaders accountable for performance outcomes, process alignment, and sales effectiveness.Leadership & Talent DevelopmentBuild, lead, and develop a high-performing, diverse sales organization.Drive a culture of accountability, coaching, and continuous development, including leadership succession planning.Attract and retain top talent while strengthening organizational capability and bench strength.Role model enterprise leadership behaviors and foster a culture of inclusion, engagement, and high performance.Promote simplicity, accountability, and execution excellence across the organization.Enterprise Collaboration & Change LeadershipPartner with enterprise stakeholders to enhance product offerings, processes, and distribution strategies.Lead the implementation of strategic and regulatory change initiatives across the segment.Provide market insights and feedback to inform enterprise decision-making and innovation.Risk Management & GovernanceEnsure strong governance, credit discipline, and adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements.Oversee AML program execution within the business, including appropriate controls, resourcing, and reporting structures.Reinforce a strong risk culture, ensuring sound, risk-informed decision-making aligned with the Bank’s risk appetite.Qualifications:University degree required, MBA or equivalent preferred10+ years of financial services leadership experience, including senior roles in retail banking, wealth, or Premier segmentsProven experience leading large, geographically dispersed sales organizationsDeep expertise in sales management across lending, deposits, and client acquisition strategiesStrong understanding of credit, risk management, and regulatory requirements, including AMLExtensive knowledge of U.S. banking market dynamics, competitive landscape, and client segmentsDemonstrated ability to translate strategy into execution and deliver sustained financial performanceExceptional leadership, coaching, and talent development capabilitiesStrong executive presence with excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsProven ability to lead change, drive innovation, and influence across matrixed organizationsPlease note the base salary range for this position is $215k USD - $300k USDSalary:Pay Type: SalariedThe above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked.
