Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Location: Decatur, AL Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Contract Duration: 9 Weeks (with option to extend) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Hourly Rate: $36.88 per hour Job Description: Nightingale's List is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team for a night shift position in a retirement home setting. This role involves providing high-quality care to elderly residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being during overnight hours. Key Responsibilities: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians Monitor residents' health status and report any changes to the supervising RN or physician Assist residents with daily living activities, including hygiene, mobility, and nutritional needs Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive resident care Provide emotional support and companionship to residents Qualifications: Valid LPN license in Alabama Previous experience in a retirement home or long-term care setting preferred Strong clinical skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Why Join Us?
