Our caregivers are not only reliable, dependable and honest, but also compassionate and caring.ResponsibilitiesProjects a friendly, helpful, caring and enthusiastic attitude to clients and their familiesAssisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, bathroom needs, and feedingPerforming light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and linen changingLaying out clothes and assisting with dressingPlanning and preparing mealsProviding medication remindersProviding transportation to and from appointmentsImmediately reports any incident or noticeable change in conditionEnsures documentation is complete and accurate prior to end of shiftPerforms duties as assigned on personal Care Service PlanHelping family members learn safe care techniquesQualificationsAbility to treat clients with dignity and respectHigh school diploma or GED requiredUnrestricted Florida driver's license and clean driving recordReliable transportation and valid automobile insuranceAble to follow verbal and written instructions and document services providedAble to function independently in the home setting with minimal direct supervisionAble to fulfill assignments with reliability and punctualityAble to maintain satisfactory relationships with clients, family, and team membersMust have a seven-year driving historyWilling to drive to private homes in the area to perform the duties of this positionAble to sit, walk, reach, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 25 poundsAbility to be flexible and adapt to new situationsMust be able to be reached via phone or email for shift schedules, client updates and/or emergenciesPrior experience with dementia patients and senior care, a plus!Why Join The Industry?Competitive compensationPaid time off (PTO)Direct depositHoliday premium payOvertime pay for over 40 hours per weekFlexible schedulingTraining and support for our caregiversReferral bonusesMileage reimbursementCompensation: $14.00 - $17.50 per hour
