Material Control Specialist I (Monday - Friday 6:00am -2:30pm)

Position Objective The Material Control Specialist I ensures proper handling, storage, and transport of raw materials inventory and in-process product. The role maintains transactional inventory accuracy, performs stock rotations according to standard operating procedures, and handles daily tasks within warehouse areas. Principal Responsibilities Data entry of all SAP and Max transactions related to the receiving and movement of raw material inventory. Pull all needed raw and in-process materials required by the company in a timely fashion. Utilize FEFO/FIFO practices. Ensure compliance with all standard operating procedures. Keep work areas organized, storing materials to preserve their integrity. Maintain inventory accuracy through periodic physical counting of materials. Assist with material returns in accordance with company Quality, Purchasing, Financial and Manufacturing standards. Remove expired materials from stock. Transfer needed materials to production or other storage locations timely. Operate forklift. Drive company minitruck. Qualifications Other responsibilities as assigned. High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of SAP/MAX or other material management software preferred. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) & Microsoft Outlook. Ability to work well in a team. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to lift 40 pounds. Forklift certification preferred; on-site training available. Must meet requirements to be an authorized driver of company insured vehicles.
