Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced ICU Travel RN for an opportunity at a premier healthcare facility in Aurora, CO. This role involves working in a dynamic and diverse ICU environment handling medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurosurgical patients, along with post-operative open-heart cases. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team operating on a Level II Trauma Center's third-floor unit, featuring state-of-the-art equipment and patient care technologies.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU

• Provide care to a variety of patients including medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurosurgery cases
• Handle post-operative care for open-heart patients
• Utilize advanced cardiac support devices such as VV and VA ECMO, balloon pumps, and Impella
• Perform bedside procedures including bronchoscopy, GI scopes, and arterial/central line insertions
• Administer airway care and manage frequent drip titrations

Requirements of the RN - ICU

• Minimum 1-year of current acute care ICU hospital experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
• Proficiency with Meditech electronic medical records (preferred)
• Experience in CVICU/CTICU settings with post-operative open-heart surgery patients (preferred)
