Duties- You will conduct oversight of Navy region and installation Emergency Management planning, preparedness, and response activities to ensure compliance with applicable directives.
- You will develop procedures to fulfill requirements arising from new modified plans from higher headquarters and other agencies.
- You will plan and executive specified emergency functions during operations and exercises.
- You will have the primary responsibility of supporting unique Regional Functions.
- You will participate in planning conferences and meetings for higher headquarters-directed exercises and real world events.

- You may be directed to deploy on short notice in advance of or in response to major incidents within the Region to augment Regional ERG operations or installation-level EOC staffs.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Experience demonstrating deep understanding of all phases of emergency management, including preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation.
- Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining emergency management plans at the regional or installation level.
- Experience developing and delivering comprehensive emergency management training programs to diverse audiences.
- Experience conducting assessments of emergency management programs, identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective action.
- Experience contributing to coordinated responses.
- Experience coordinating activities seamlessly with other services, federal agencies, and installation personnel to achieve common goals.
