Medication Access Coordinator

To support medication access initiatives, the full-time Medication Access Coordinator will obtain prior authorizations for medications, conduct benefit investigations, and liaise with insurance companies, patients, and care teams while working remotely from Pennsylvania. Key responsibilities Complete prior authorization and document referrals for medications using third-party payer criteria Maintain knowledge of patient assistance programs and assist patients in enrolling in appropriate programs Communicate authorization statuses and assist the care team in improving patient care through specialty services Required qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required Minimum of 2 years of related work experience required Experience with pharmacy reimbursement methodologies preferred Knowledge of patient medication assistance foundations and programs Ability to track and manage assistance program applications and fund awards
