Job Description

Polaris Freightways is hiring CDL-A drivers for a dedicated local account based in Chicago, Illinois. This home-daily position offers consistent routes, all year round consistent work, primarily drop-and-hook freight, and automatic top-of-the-line equipment.

Drivers average $1,650 per week.

Job Details

Home daily
Dedicated Target account
Local routes with a maximum round trip of 91 miles
95% drop-and-hook freight
5% pallet jack unloading
CPM-based pay with bonus opportunities
Automatic-transmission trucks
53-foot trailers
Solo driving position

Schedule

Drivers work six days followed by a 34-hour reset.

Experience Requirements

Applicants must have a valid Class A CDL and meet one of the following experience standards:

At least three months of tractor-trailer driving experience within the past 12 months
Qualifying tractor-trailer experience within the past 10 years, with time actively driving equal to or greater than time away from driving
Anility to meet DOT and company hiring standards
