Truck Driver Responsibilities

Complete the daily logs
Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately
Manage routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possible
Comply with all DOT and in house regulations and rules
Communicate with dispatch
Always ensure your vehicle is kept clean
Maintain and service vehicle as needed (refuel, change oil, tire pressure etc)
Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive in according to the weather conditions or road conditions
Adhere to company rules and regulations
