About the Position

A not-for-profit regional hospital in Mattoon, Illinois, is adding a full-time board-certified pediatrician to their collegial inpatient team. Opening due to one of their pediatric hospitalist switching to outpatient.

Highlights

• January 2027 start
• Flexible 5-on / 10-off schedule, 24-hour shifts
• Round and go (usually done by noon), available to return for the duration of the 24 hours
• ED consults, inpatient rounds, Level II nursery, and attend high-risk deliveries
• Must be comfortable with NRP, intubation, umbilical line placement, lumbar punctures, shoulder dystocia, and stabilization for transport (ambulance & helicopter available)
