Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for an Interim Pharmacy Manager/Director in a hospital setting located in Boston, MA. This contract role begins ASAP and has an expected duration of 3+ months, focusing on inpatient pharmacy management and staffing oversight if needed.
Responsibilities:
Oversee inpatient pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies
Manage daily pharmacy workflows, inventory control, and medication distribution
Supervise and provide leadership to pharmacy staff, including staffing adjustments as necessary
Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmaceutical care and patient safety
Monitor quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives within the pharmacy department
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active Massachusetts pharmacy license
Proven experience in hospital pharmacy management
Strong leadership and organizational skills managing inpatient pharmacy services
Ability to manage staff effectively and maintain operational efficiency
Location:
Boston, MA hospital setting
