2027 Summer Intern: Financial Accounting - Corporate

• You’re a motivated student with a current 3.0 GPA or higher currently pursuing a degree in one of the following areas from an accredited college or university:
• Accounting
• This is a paid, full-time, 11-week internship designed to give you real-world experience and meaningful exposure to the telecommunications industry in your chosen field.
• Internship program runs from May 26 through August 6, 2027.
• In addition to role-specific projects, you’ll take part in professional development sessions, networking opportunities, mentorship and experiences that help you grow personally and professionally.

What you can expect in this role

As a Spectrum intern, you’ll spend the summer working alongside two teams: your respective department and your intern cohort.

Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You’ll spend the other 20% on internship experiences that include a kickoff conference, professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects and final presentations.

This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand your network and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of our business.

Internship responsibilities may include:

• The financial accounting intern provides support to the Charter financial accounting team by assisting with the creation of journal entries, reviewing results and preparing account reconciliations, as well as other ad hoc project work. The intern will support various financial accounting teams, including revenue, cable ops, corporate and non-cable ops, capital and mobile.
• All things financial accounting - Intern would be utilized to support closing the books process including creation of journal entries, reviewing results and preparing account reconciliations. Additional work could include account analysis and project support.

Required qualifications

• Must be a rising junior or rising senior with an expected graduation date between of May 2028 to May 2029
• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor’s degree
• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
• Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
