Bioanalytical Chemist
$22 - $27 per hourEurofins Agroscience Services North Carolina
Eurofins seeks a bioanalytical chemist to perform analytical testing on protein and small molecule therapeutics using chromatography and electrophoresis techniques. The role involves independent instrument operation, sample preparation, data reporting, and equipment maintenance in a laboratory setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform HPLC/UPLC, SDS-PAGE, iCE, and capillary electrophoresis on biotherapeutics
- Operate analytical instrumentation independently with minimal supervision
- Prepare samples and standards for analysis
- Compile and deliver analytical data to customers
- Conduct monthly equipment maintenance and laboratory support activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biochemistry, analytical chemistry, chemistry, or related field
- 2–6 years of hands-on experience with biological molecules and analytical methods
- Proficiency with HPLC/UPLC, SDS-PAGE, iCE, or capillary electrophoresis techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
Compensation: $22.00–$27.00 per hour
