Nurse Manager Operating Room (Limited Term)

Responsible to manage the 7/24-hour clinical operations and staff within the Operating Room meeting continuous quality improvement customer service financial and delivery requirements in support of Seattle Childrens mission vision and values. Ensure safe efficient and cost-effective care is provided to the community patients and families of community primary care providers and promote linkages and strategic regional relationships with Seattle conjunction with the Operative Services leadership team this position is responsible for the implementation of CPI initiatives for the OR.

This is a benefit-eligible limited term role slated to last a minimum of 6 months.

Required Education and Experience
Bachelors degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited school of of two (2) years RN experience.A Masters degree in Nursing may be substituted provided the incumbent also possesses a Bachelors degree in another leadership experience.

Required Credentials
Current Washington State or Multistate (MSL) RN license.A copy of bachelors degree or higher in nursing or transcripts indicating attainment of bachelors degree or higher in nursing is to be on record with Human Resources upon or healthcare related professional board certification in a clinical specialty area or leadership on hire or must be obtained within three (3) years of hire and must be maintained thereafter. Certification must be recognized by the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC) and approved by Seattle certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers. This is a condition of hire and must be maintained at all times. Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) will be accepted in lieu of BLS for Healthcare Providers. (Note: Employees are responsible for any costs (including time away from work) associated with obtaining PALS or PEARS certification if it is not a requirement of the position). ACLS will not be accepted as a substitute to the requirements listed above.

Preferred
Masters Degree in Nursing or business related experience in an OR management and/or leadership clinical experience in an Operating Room setting.

Compensation Range

$133247.00 - $199871.00 per year

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity skills experience and expertise and may vary within the range provided.
