Location: Charlotte, NC Shift: Tuesday - Saturday, 9:00pm 6:00am.

What You Will Do:

• Manage and lead a team of drivers and hourly associates in a fast-paced dispatch team environment
• Assist our wide range of clients with the needs and demands of their supply chains
• Ensure acceptable levels of performance in assigned business unit by meeting or exceeding productivity standards and cost control management
• Ensure exceptional customer service by meeting key performance indicators (efficiency of drivers and equipment, DOT HOS, customer delivery requirements, etc.) for assigned area of responsibility
• Achieve performance goals through KPI monitoring, promote LEAN principles, and process improvement
• Lead and maintain a clean, professional, and safe work environment
• Meet or exceed SCLS corporate safety goals as well as DOT regulations
• Effectively communicate goals, expectations, areas for improvement, and successes to associates
• Coach, train, and mentor associates allowing them the opportunity to grow and develop
• Conduct annual performance reviews

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• 2+ years of previous experience in a leadership role with a track record of implementing and managing change
• Listening skills and strong abilities to collaborate, communicate and motivate others to accomplish goals
• Demonstrated success in problem-solving and decision-making to overcome obstacles and maximize opportunities
• Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment while focusing on exceeding operational goals
• Strong organization and multi-tasking skills, agility, and ability to be cross-trained to do more where needed
• High School Diploma/GED Required

It's Not Required, But It Would Be Even Better If You Have:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement training and experience
• Supply chain/logistics experience is a plus but not required
• Technical savvy (intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based, and job-specific software applications)
