Inpatient Pediatric Physical Therapist (PRN - Flexible Hours)

Inpatient Physical TherapistChild Serve's talented team of therapists specializes in pediatric rehab and works together to create plans specific to each child's needs. As an Inpatient Physical Therapist, you will provide comprehensive physical therapy services to children in our inpatient service at our Johnston location and residential group homes in the Des Moines metro. PRN Inpatient PT rate is $45/hour. PRN Group Home PT rate is $55/hour. SchedulePRN/flexible schedule Monday-Friday during typical business hoursWhat You'll DoPlan and prepare individualized, creative, and unique activities to meet each child's individual goalsAdminister appropriate standardized tests/screenings/informal assessments/clinical observationsAdhere to the plan of care as writtenProvide interpretation and/or counseling of test results to clients/caregivers as well as ongoing feedback regarding progressProvide appropriate recommendations, equipment, referrals and/or follow-up for each caseAssist in the research/development of clinical practices and competenciesParticipate in internal quality assurance and continuous quality improvement activitiesMust meet Child Serve and Child Serve Therapy's mandatory education requirements and be willing to attend additional training to improve process and proceduresWhat You'll NeedMaster's level or higher graduate of an APTA approved physical therapy program and active license in the state of IowaPreferred: Pediatric experienceAbility to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the assigned work area, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.Not sure if you hit 100% of the position expectations?
