Travel Surgical Technologist

This position is for a travel surgical technologist. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting. An active compact license is required upon application. BLS certification is also required. The unit comprises six operating rooms with a staff of twelve. Staff generally works either four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday. There are call requirements, including three weekend days (24 hours) per six-week period and three night shifts from 15:30 to 07:00 each week. The position involves working with operating room equipment. Candidates with skills in DaVinci, robotic surgery, urology, general surgery, and gynecological cases are preferred. Typical procedures performed include total joints, spine surgeries, and urology procedures. The ideal candidate should be a team player and friendly. Scrub colors are provided. Standards of behavior will be provided upon arrival.
