Security Engineer - Network Perimeter Security

Security Engineer - Endpoint Protection (ideally strong with Symantec)

Security Engineer - Email Security (Proofpoint)

Top Three Skills:

1) Enterprise Security Engineering experience
2) Network / Endpoint / Email (Proofpoint) technical security SMEs
3) CISSP a plus

Job Description:

Hands on Security Engineering, experience working in cloud environments desirable

Strong aptitude and ability to logically analyze and solve complex issues collaboratively
Ability to set priorities for scope, risk and quality of technology solutions to meet business needs.
Responsibilities
Lead analysis, design and implementation of secure solutions for new and existing environments
Provide technical leadership for assigned security projects including; the protection of information assets, corporate and customer information and intellectual property
Communicate security standard and minimal control requirements
Act as a technical advisor and subject matter expert to internal stakeholders and partners
Maintain a superior knowledge of Security capabilities and applicable vendor product offerings
Understand technical issues and risks affecting the business and be able to communicate them to management and other business leaders.

Strong Network and Security Endpoint device experience desired

Certifications in Comptia Security +, CISSP desired
Responsible for designing and evaluating the processes and controls, accountable for consulting and advising on large, complex and ambiguous efforts on the appropriate information protection controls.
Responsible for approving deviations to the policies and standards and providing subject matter expertise for the information risk program Typically 8+ years of experience in the role.
