Maintenance Technician - Direct Hire / Climate controlled facility / Pay ranges from $32.00-$38.00/hr DOE

A well-established manufacturing facility in Newton, NC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support high-speed production and automation equipment in a modern industrial environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional with strong electrical and PLC troubleshooting skills.

• Perform PLC troubleshooting and electrical troubleshooting on production and automation equipment
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical, mechanical, and automated systems to minimize downtime
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
• Support automation systems including motors, drives, sensors, conveyors, and control panels
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production and facility equipment
• Analyze equipment downtime and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects
• Maintain spare parts inventory and ensure a clean and safe work environment
• Work closely with production and maintenance teams to maximize equipment reliability and uptime

• Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong skills in PLC troubleshooting, automation, and electrical systems
• Ability to read and work from electrical schematics and diagrams
• Mechanical troubleshooting experience on industrial or production equipment
• High school diploma or GED required
• Associate’s degree or technical training preferred
• Willingness to work overtime or off-shifts as needed to support production

• Medium-duty work, including lifting up to 50 lbs
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to work around moving equipment, forklifts, and industrial chemicals

This is a Permanent position based out of Lincolnton, NC.

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr.
