Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Woodstock, Virginia location to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide patient services across a part-time schedule. The role involves venipuncture techniques, data entry, billing, and maintaining specimen integrity for laboratory testing.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
- Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and process billing information
- Provide customer service and perform administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
- Three months or more phlebotomy experience (or certification in lieu of experience)
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work overtime
- Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
Compensation: $17.75 - $27.69 per hour
