You will develop and maintain manufacturing plans, work instructions, and process documentation while collaborating closely with Design Engineering, Program Management, and Quality Assurance to drive producibility and cost improvements across assigned programs.What you'll experience:Technologies that aren't just top-notch, they're often top-secretA team of bold thinkers committed to exploring what's nextOpportunities to gain new knowledge as it's discoveredA high-impact role as the go-to engineering resource for 2nd shift production operationsWhat you bring to the table:A Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 1 year of relevant experienceClear understanding of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods, and technical standards with proficiency in lean manufacturing techniques and Six Sigma methodologyExperience developing manufacturing engineering plans, work instructions, routings, and process documentation for production programsWorking knowledge of solid modeling CAD tools for creating mechanical models and drawings, with educational-level knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) toolsWhat sets you apart:Experience assisting product engineering with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design to cost initiativesProven ability to install manufacturing process systems and conduct production qualification, feasibility studies, and testing on new and modified designsStrong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teamsIdentifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovationLean / Six Sigma CertificationSalary Note This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.).
