Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Security Patrol Driver in Brookshire TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a dynamic retail location where you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This driving post includes armed responsibilities strong customer service and clear communication. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a busy retail location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting details and reporting concerns to site leadership when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location including sales floor areas entrances parking areas loading zones and perimeter spaces.
• Monitor for suspicious activity policy violations and/or potential hazards to help support order and help to deter unwanted behavior on the property.
• Interact with customers visitors and store personnel in a professional manner while assisting with access control de-escalation and/or other security-related needs as directed by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
