Should an appointee be subsequently listed as an excluded individual or entity on any of these lists, employment may be terminated Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Candidates must possess a license and current registration as a registered professional nurse in New York State. Reassignment: Current New York State Department of Health Veterans Home at Montrose employee with permanent or contingent permanent status as a Registered Nurse 1, Grade 18. Transfer: Current New York State employee with one or more years of permanent, contingent-permanent, or 55 b/c service in a position eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law, to a Registered Nurse 1, Grade 18. Preferred Qualifications: The preferred candidate would have experience in a Long-Term Care setting with a geriatric population. Salary reflects the contractual salary range at step 4 and a geographic pay differential of $35,000 and downstate adjustment of $4,000 for New York City, Westchester, and Suffolk counties. Salary also includes shift differential for evening and night shift and $575.00 inconvenience pay. All Shifts Available.
