We are looking for a friendly, organized, dependable Part-Time Support Staff member to join our Farmers Insurance office. This position provides administrative and customer support that helps keep the agency organized, responsive, and running smoothly.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has strong communication and listening skills, is comfortable learning new things, and takes pride in being organized and detail-oriented.

Insurance experience is not required. A Property & Casualty insurance license is a plus, but the right person without a license is encouraged to apply. For someone who is licensed, or who becomes licensed, additional opportunities and a higher wage may be available.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and professional customer service to clients
• Answer and direct phone calls as needed
• Process incoming and outgoing mail
• Maintain and update customer contact lists and agency records
• Follow up with customers by phone, email, or other appropriate methods
• Assist with scheduling, correspondence, filing, scanning, and other general office tasks
• Perform basic bookkeeping and administrative duties
• Enter and maintain information accurately in agency systems and spreadsheets
• Assist with organizing customer information and keeping records current
• Help with day-to-day office organization and operations
• Support the agency team with additional administrative projects as needed

• Comfortable learning new systems, processes, and insurance concepts
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
• Comfortable working with computers, email, spreadsheets, and digital records
• Able to handle confidential customer information with professionalism
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while also being a team player
• Previous office, administrative, customer service, or insurance experience is helpful but not required
• Property & Casualty insurance license is preferred but not required
