Echo Ultrasound Tech - Cardiac Sonographer

Job Description

Join our team as an Echo Ultrasound Tech / Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist and use your expertise to operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, compassionately prepare patients for echocardiogram procedure, and produce detailed images of the heart for interpretation by healthcare teams.

Minimum Requirements:

• National certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
• 2 years of experience
• BLS certification
• Ability to work independently without additional techs or supervisor on site
• Experience scanning adults from the ER, inpatient floors, and outpatient scheduled patients
• Experience performing cardiac ultrasound procedures including transthoracic, stress, transesophageal, and intra-operative echocardiograms
• Basic Cardiac Life Support
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0730-1600
• Shift days: Tuesday-Friday
• 24 hour call required on Saturday and Sunday
