Job Summary


Our client is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to assist providers during operative and invasive procedures. The position involves maintaining a sterile surgical environment throughout each procedure and ensuring effective collaboration and communication with the surgical team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in interventional procedures and conduct diagnostic organ or body scans.
• Prepare the operating room and manage necessary instruments and supplies during procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety as per facility policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate effective communication and collaboration with the perioperative team and other stakeholders.
• Function as a scrub person during procedures while maintaining sterility and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduation from a Radiology Technology program.
• 2+ years of experience in a surgical setting.
• Current BLS Certification.

Experience

• 2 years of experience in interventional radiology setting.
• Experience in a high-volume surgical environment.

Skills

• Radiology Technology proficiency.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage complexity and solve problems effectively.
• Enthusiastic, action-oriented, and result-driven approach.
